Design, mould making, 3D printing services, and ultrasonic welding
Our mould production is carried out entirely in-house, ensuring meticulous control over the entire process, outstanding operational flexibility, and absolute quality of the final product.
The technical expertise of our operators, combined with sophisticated CAD-CAM systems, enables a constantly evolving design capability. This allows us to cover a wide range of application sectors, from mechanical and electromechanical components to footwear and leather goods accessories, as well as functional and aesthetic components for furniture and lighting technology.
Meticulous attention to the smallest details and a dedication to meeting customer specifications have led us to develop an engineering process that guarantees maximum reliability. For our clients, this translates into total peace of mind and the certainty of receiving a highly precise, durable, and premium-quality product.
Design
The production of Zamak die-cast parts or thermoplastic moulded components begins with the design phase in close co-design with the client. This collaborative step is essential to ensure that the manufactured components perfectly match their specific requirements and functional needs.
Mould Making
Following the design phase, tooling fabrication takes place in our machining department using high-tech equipment such as machining centres, EDM systems, and lathes. The mould is then bench-finished by our highly skilled, experienced personnel, utilizing premium-grade steels and alloys to guarantee optimal moulding performance. The high quality of the materials selected for the moulds directly reflects on the excellence and consistency of the final product.
We have developed high design and manufacturing standards for both technical and aesthetic moulds, producing both complete, self-contained moulds and custom cavity inserts designed to operate on our universal mould bases. Manufacturing only the cavity inserts is a cost-effective technology that allows us to significantly reduce tooling and moulding costs to the great benefit of our clients.
3D Printing Services
To round out our service portfolio, we have expanded our prototyping sector with 3D printing. This technology enables the creation of a physical prototype based on a digital 3D model, allowing clients to verify ergonomics, functionality, and assembly fit before launching full-scale serial production.
3D printing builds an object layer-by-layer, depositing material only where strictly necessary. This minimizes material waste and opens the door to virtually infinite, complex geometries, primarily for small and medium-sized components. With this technology, small-batch manufacturing can be achieved with significant time and cost savings by bypassing traditional tooling and production workflows. Today, 3D printing finds valuable applications across every field and industrial sector.
Ultrasonic Welding
In response to increasing market demand, we have introduced ultrasonic plastic welding—an exceptionally effective and innovative technique that utilizes high-frequency vibrations to generate friction-induced heat, thereby fusing the contacting materials together.
The process is carried out using ultrasonic welding systems that convert high-frequency electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical motion. This mechanical movement, combined with applied force, creates frictional heat on the mating surfaces of the plastic components (the joint area), melting the plastic to form a permanent molecular bond between the parts. Chemical compatibility between the thermoplastic components is essential for this process to succeed.
This welding method is highly valued for its efficiency and precision, offering rapid processing speeds that contribute to corporate energy savings while producing clean, strong joints without the use of adhesives—resulting in a clear cost reduction. Furthermore, the process generates no waste or harmful emissions, making it an eco-friendly choice.
Ultrasonic welding is considered an optimal solution for precision assembly in demanding sectors such as the automotive, electronics, medical, and packaging industries.
